A Class For Adrenaline Junkies: Defenses Against Edged Weapons - To get the adrenaline flowing, several drills were conducted using the ASP red knives. Red chalk was applied to the blade of the knife to simulate a cut and blood. Each student wore a clean, white tee shirt so that it was easy to detect a successful cut from the attacker. The drills went on for a two minute period to simulate the physical and mental stress of this type of encounter. more in members area

  • You are of senior level rank and are a current, participating student at Kure Beach Aikido. ..or..

  • You are a Law Enforcement Professional with lagitimate interest in this course, and have discussed access with Richard L. Price directly.

If you meet any of the above, you are qualified to enter the Law Enforcement Training Section.

This is a three belt certification program in Jujitsu for law enforcement officers along
with an academic certificate through Wake Technical Community College, Raleigh, NC
 
Pre-requisites and training levels available soon.  Officers will be invited to participate who meet high standards of character, demeanor, and the rigorous prerequisite academic and physical training courses to include:  S.C.A.T. (subject control and arrest techniques), Officers Survival I and II, Ground Defense and Control, Weapon Retention, Aikido for Law Enforcement: Tactical Training, Aikido for Law Enforcement: Defenses Against Edged Weapons, Use of Force and Documenting Use of Force.
